Fire Accident In A Kericho Town Slum ,Kenya

The fierce fire consuming the house .More than thirty houses were burned down to ashes and and property worth hundreds of thousands of shillings lost,the estates shop .,which was located on one of the houses is said to have lost about a half a million shillings worth of un-sold stock.The cause of the fire,not yet established .Victims said that a drunk tenant came home late past mid night and lit a candle ,the fell a sleep without putting it off,then the curtains touched the flame and then the fire spread to the other plots.The tenant is said to have ran away naked on waking up and finding the whole house red hot and filled with smoke.He lost hi senses and forgot to wake up his neighbors,they just discovered it for themselves and sounded the alarm.
